A steady New Year

Bugsy spent his first new year's day with our family. It was both an exciting and terrifying experience for him. All curious and thrilled with the sounds he heard outside, he ran out after my dad. Once he saw the lights in the sky, he just bolted back in dragging his "mommy" along with him.

I just brought him inside the study room with the airconditioning on and hugged him. Burrowing his head in my arms, I think he was more scared of what was happening. All the noise would be hard to understand. Not to mention all of us screaming Happy New Year at midnight.

A conflict ensued when my mom said to keep him in the room for fear that the noise might harm his sensitive ears. Dad on the other hand kept searching and wanted him to join us outside with the festivities. Poor baby did not get to see the light show. I may have missed the fireworks but I keep saying thanks for the best thing to happen to my life in 2010: the best little puppy in the world.

bugsy's ears are all wrapped up so that his sensitive ears would not be affected by the fireworks booms!
